Admin & executive support
Hire a Filipino executive assistant
An executive assistant runs your inbox, calendar and follow-ups so your hours go to the work only you can do. We place Filipino EAs who have supported busy leaders before.
What they take off your plate
- Triage your inbox daily, draft replies and flag what needs you
- Schedule meetings across time zones without the back-and-forth
- Prepare briefing notes and agendas before important calls
- Book travel and keep itineraries in one place
- Track your commitments and chase the follow-ups
- Manage documents, contracts and e-signatures
- Keep your CRM and task list current after meetings
- Handle personal admin you choose to share, like renewals and bookings
When it’s time for an executive assistant
The signs are usually obvious in hindsight. You spend the first hour of every day in your inbox. Scheduling a single meeting takes six emails. You finish calls with action items you never get to. Important messages sit unanswered because they arrived during a busy week.
If your own time is the constraint on the business, an executive assistant is usually the first hire that pays for itself. The work is almost entirely done inside email, calendar and document tools, which makes it a natural fit for a remote Filipino EA.
What separates a great EA
Speed matters, but judgment matters more. A great executive assistant learns what you care about and what you don’t, handles the second group without asking, and brings you the first group with the context you need to decide quickly.
They also write well. Much of the job is replying on your behalf, so we check writing in both the English interview and the skills test. We scout EAs who have already supported founders or executives, so they arrive knowing the pace.
Getting the most from your EA
Give them a short list of rules to start: who always gets through, which meetings you never take, your preferred hours, and how you like replies to sound. Update the list every week for the first month. Our VA hiring playbook includes a template for exactly this.
How we vet for this role
The skills test
The skills test is a live inbox exercise: a sample inbox with 30 messages to triage, three replies to draft in the executive's voice, and a tricky multi-person meeting to schedule across time zones. We look at judgment as much as speed: what they escalate, what they handle, and how their writing sounds.
It is one of eight checks, alongside a portfolio review, a past employment check, a live English interview, a paid trial task, a background check and an NDA. You interview the shortlist at the end.

What the first 30 days look like
- Week 1
Access set up through delegated email and a password manager. Your EA shadows your inbox and calendar and writes down your preferences.
- Week 2
They take over scheduling and inbox triage using labels you agree on, and start drafting replies for your approval.
- Week 3
Routine replies go out without review. Meeting prep notes and a daily summary become standard.
- Week 4
You review what's working, hand over travel and documents, and set the rules for what always comes to you.
Measuring it
Numbers worth watching
Agree on these in week one so you both know what good looks like.
- Hours per week you no longer spend on email and scheduling
- Inbox at an agreed zero or near-zero each day
- Meetings booked without you touching the calendar
- Follow-ups sent on time, tracked in one list

FAQ
Questions about hiring a executive assistant
Should my executive assistant have access to my email?
Yes, through delegated access in Gmail or Outlook, never through your password. Delegation lets your EA read, send and organize on your behalf while you keep full control and can remove access in one step.
Can a Filipino executive assistant work my US hours?
Tell us your time zone and the hours you need covered. Coverage goes into the role scorecard, and we scout for EAs who can work that schedule reliably.
How is an executive assistant different from a general virtual assistant?
An EA supports one leader closely and makes small decisions in their voice. A general VA supports a business or team across many admin tasks. If your own calendar and inbox are the bottleneck, you want an EA.
What should I never hand to an EA?
Decisions that depend on your judgment, like hiring, pricing and difficult conversations. Your EA can prepare everything for those decisions, and that's where they save you the most time.
How quickly will an EA be useful?
Most owners feel the difference in the second week, once scheduling and inbox triage move over. Voice-sensitive work like drafting replies takes a few weeks of feedback to get right.
